It's amazing how these fearless little birds seemingly risk their lives in the rushing torrents. This one was clinging to the side of a boulder in between two plumes of spraying water.

This is a different individual than the previous shot with a lot more black streaking in the crown. It could be a younger bird.

The rarest of the world's dippers, replacing the previous species in a limited area of the Andes in southern Bolivia and northern Argentina. I've included a few different shots of the same bird.
