USA - MAGEE MARSH, OHIO - MAY 2010
19 photosHere are my best photos I took during the Biggest Week in American Birding in May 2010. All these photos are from the boardwalk at Magee Marsh, though this is just because you can get insanely close to the birds here. There are plenty of other birding spots around as well. These are the last photos I ever took with my Canon 50D - the camera and lens were destroyed on 17 May 2010, when a fire gutted the trailer than I and my colleagues were staying in during the Biggest Week. Fortunately no one was in it at the time, but a painful amount of gear was lost that day. I was able to chisel open the melted camera body and recover the CF card and the photos on it. The card still works fine to this day.
