SEEDSNIPES   -   THINOCORIDAE

Rufous-bellied Seedsnipe Attagis gayi latreillii Radio masts above Papallacta Pass, Napo province, Ecuador. This subspecies is endemic to Ecuador, and Ridgely and Greenfield (2001) hint that it may deserve to be split.

Gray-breasted Seedsnipe Thinocorus orbignyianus ingae Laguna de los Pozuelos, Jujuy province, Argentina. Two males sitting together. It seems likely that the lower one is a young bird.

Least Seedsnipe Thinocorus rumicivorus cuneicauda Lomas de Lachay, Lima Male.
